The land seller will need to go to a Notary Public, and sign in front of them. Then you - the Buyer, will bring your signed Deed to the County Recorders to have it Recorded. You will need to fill out a Property Transfer Statement form, and possibly a Cover Sheet, both of these the County Recorder will have. You will pay a small Recorders fee, the Documentary Transfer Tax, and make sure you Get A Certified Copy, after the County Recorder stamps it with the Document Number. Let them know at the window, and they will add the extra fee for certified copies there.
